Survey Crew Chief

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead our survey and geospatial team in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead one, two, or three-person crews on various survey projects, including FDOT design and ROW, topographic, aerial ground control, boundary, and ALTA.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data collection using Trimble equipment and other survey tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective survey strategies to meet client needs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 10 years of field survey experience and at least 5 years of experience as a Crew Chief, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Florida DOT (FDOT) project experience.
  • Proficient in use of Trimble equipment and other survey tools.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
