Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at Atwell LLC. As a key member of our construction survey team, you will be responsible for leading daily site operations and ensuring the successful completion of survey projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of surveyors and technicians to perform survey activities, including leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, and construction layout.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily site operations, including commute to and from sites in a company-provided truck.
  • Develop and implement survey plans and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure survey data meets project requirements.
  • Perform as-built surveys, boundary surveys, and profile and cross-section surveys as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a survey crew chief or team lead in a construction survey environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in survey software and equipment, including GPS and total stations.
