Job Overview:
The Regional Program Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating and analyzing program and financial management data to ensure alignment with program goals and compliance with federal standards. This position involves providing consultation and engaging with communities within the designated geographical area to support the overarching program objectives.
Essential Duties Include:
- Formulating work plans to execute individual monitoring tasks and assist in grants management and state program evaluations.
- Facilitating and supporting site assessments with states, voluntary organizations, mutual assistance groups, and other stakeholders.
- Examining state plan submissions, grantee program performance, and financial documentation to summarize findings in relation to program goals.
- Reviewing independent auditor reports from grantees and suggesting follow-up evaluations as necessary.
- Coordinating and conducting selected on-site monitoring visits to assess program effectiveness and identify areas needing improvement.
- Drafting comprehensive reports detailing findings, including strengths, best practices, weaknesses, and recommendations for enhancements.
- Securing approval for site reports from the relevant Regional Representative prior to dissemination.
- Providing technical support to grantees following monitoring assessments.
- Assisting in the development and coordination of regional initiatives addressing interconnected issues to ensure collaborative efforts towards achieving objectives.
- Facilitating collaboration within internal regional program offices and with external federal agency counterparts to enhance service delivery.
- Offering analytical support for various tasks to aid in informed decision-making.
- Conducting research and functional analysis on diverse projects to address user needs.
- Assisting in the revision of monitoring protocols as required.
- Working under the guidance of the Regional Representative.
Travel Requirements: 10-25%
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Telecommuting Options: Hybrid
