About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Specialist to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document and Analyze Patient Data: Accurately document and analyze patient data to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Schedule Appointments and Provide Testing Instructions: Schedule appointments and provide clear testing instructions to patients and families.
  • Operate Diagnostic Equipment: Clean, adjust, and maintain diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Certification: Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification required. Eligibility for and successful completion of the ABRET EEG board examination with the achievement of R.EEG T. within two years of hire.
  • Licensure: None required.
  • Experience: One year of experience preferred in the Neurodiagnostic field in an inpatient setting or office setting. Experience performing advanced EEG/evoked potential studies and EEG/evoked potential studies.
  • Education: High School or GED. Graduate or enrollment with graduation within six months of hire from an accredited program for Electro-neurodiagnostic Technology, or an Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college/university, or eligible for boards within 2 years of hire with a minimum of 1 year of inpatient experience as a EEG Tech.
