Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at the Winship Emory Midtown Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare by delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative treatment plans.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist include performing treatment and simulation procedures, as directed by the Radiation Oncologist and in accordance with departmental procedures. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve unparalleled excellence in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform treatment and simulation procedures, as directed by the Radiation Oncologist and in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of radiation therapy treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in radiation therapy.
Requirements:
  • Certificate or degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
