This full-time, non-exempt role reports directly to the Senior Production Manager and demands outstanding leadership capabilities alongside technical proficiency.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Establishing preventive maintenance and repair protocols in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Overseeing Maintenance Technicians in various maintenance disciplines including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, while also managing wastewater and roll grinding processes.
- Fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment to boost team performance and morale.
- Facilitating the training and development of maintenance staff, encouraging ongoing education and skill enhancement.
- Monitoring adjustments to facility equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety standards.
- Leading preventive maintenance initiatives to uphold the reliability of production machinery.
- Conducting in-house repairs, including welding and machining tasks, while mentoring maintenance personnel.
- Diagnosing complex electrical, mechanical, and plumbing challenges and coordinating suitable corrective measures.
- Working closely with production teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Ensuring adherence to all regulatory safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
- Acquiring spare and replacement parts and materials as required.
- Executing all responsibilities while complying with safety regulations, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and understanding Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
