About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Insight Global. As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and reporting financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial performance reports and KPI/Critical Success Factors Dashboard for the Lifecycle Service Assurance Business Unit
  • Prepare monthly profitability analysis of business at the customer/Product line/sales order level
  • Prepare monthly Order booking and discounting reports at Product line, Sales order, Customer, Region level
  • Prepare and Distribute monthly cost reports and KPIs to all BU Teams (Marketing, R&D, Global Services)
  • Accountable for variance analysis of monthly results, margins, and discounts
  • Accountable for the preparation of Annual capex budget and tracking actual spend vs budget
  • Setting up a system for tracking R&D and Marketing ROI
  • Preparation of business cases for R&D/Marketing investment while working with Product Line Management and R&D leads
  • Management of BU 3rd Party spend by properly creating POs for these and track actual spend vs budget/forecast.
  • Creation of adhoc report/analysis for Corporate and Business unit

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, in Finance or Accounting, from an accredited university; or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in finance including financial analysis, planning, and reporting experience.
  • Strong financial modelling skills/Integrated models development with high level of advanced excel knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, V-lookups, complex formulas
  • Prior experience with month-end close process and group reporting
