Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Lake Health District. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing patient services using imaging modalities, performing radiographic procedures, and applying principles of radiation protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures and evaluate radiographs for technical quality
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures and provide patient care essential to radiographic procedures
  • Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures
  • Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with co-workers and patients
Requirements
  • Licensed radiology technologist with a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited school of x-ray technology or equivalent experience
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and active/valid OR state license or ability to obtain one
  • Mammography certification required; Computed Tomography (CT) certification preferred; CPR certification required
  • Experience within a busy hospital (inpatient and outpatient) setting a plus; Five-year experience preferred
