Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

This position is for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor at a leading dairy marketing cooperative, which is supported by a network of farm families and a dedicated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical and thermal systems
  • Utilize computer-aided design tools to create or modify mechanical and thermal systems
  • Examine equipment malfunctions and propose effective solutions
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Research, design, assess, install, operate, or maintain mechanical products and systems
  • Suggest design enhancements and process optimizations
  • Supervise the installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of machinery
  • Apply engineering principles to enhance equipment performance and processes
  • Develop maintenance protocols and safety measures
  • Educate team members on updated safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in supervising a team of 6-8 technicians
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Proficient in English required
  • Degree in Engineering is mandatory
