Supply Chain Manager

At Atlas Copco, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our supply chain functions, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory, logistics, and materials management processes.

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee the planning and execution of supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics management.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve supply chain excellence and drive business results.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, product management, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Develop and implement systems to support key supply chain initiatives and improve business efficiencies.
• Supervise production planning activities, including reviewing flow manufacturing and capacity planning reports, scheduling of customer orders, and interpreting production measurement tools.
• Interface with Global Supply Chain Management/Global Manufacturing Organization to plan and execute supply chain systems and organization.
• Develop supply strategies that leverage the cost structure and technological advantages of global markets.
• Align procurement and logistics strategies to best meet cost and supply chain network flow.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, and leverage this knowledge to drive business results.

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mechanical or industrial engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in supply chain/logistics management, operations management, and/or materials management.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, and supply chain planning systems. SAP experience a plus.
• Strong influencing, negotiating, presentation, and communication skills practiced routinely at a senior level both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing problem-solving, process improvement tools, and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and statistical process control.
• Proven track record as a data-driven manager who is proficient in the development and tracking of key performance metrics.
• Knowledge of database and application software, concepts, and structures, as well as ERP implementation. Strong PC application skills, including experience with the full complement of Microsoft Office software.
• Experience with full cost accounting and utilizing financial data to monitor performance, aid in analytical techniques, and drive change.
