Position Overview:
Marine Travelift Mid-Atlantic is seeking a dedicated full-time On-Site Equipment Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to our domestic clientele, ensuring the optimal performance of Marine Travelift and Shuttlelift equipment. This position requires a commitment of 45-60 hours per week, with approximately 75% of your time spent traveling overnight across various states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new equipment at client locations and provide comprehensive training on its operation and maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of previously sold equipment and offer insightful feedback to clients.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and parts lists to the CustomerCare team.
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machinery currently in operation at customer sites.
  • Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintaining industrial machinery, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems (experience with Parker IQAN is advantageous).
  • Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot issues using analytical and evaluative techniques.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and rigging practices.
  • Capability to work safely at heights exceeding 50 feet.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Willingness to travel overnight approximately 75% of the time.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
