Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Nurse to join our team as a Float RN. This is a unique opportunity to provide direct nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, while also serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Provide education to patients and families on health and wellness, promoting a culture of health and prevention.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support, BLS Provider, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
