Job Title: Route Delivery Driver

GA Foods Inc is seeking a skilled Route Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to seniors, children, military, and emergency response personnel in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver ready-made, hot, and/or frozen/shelf-stable meals to customer homes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
  • Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly
  • Check vehicle fluid levels and perform a general routine inspection of the vehicle to ensure all is in working order
  • Assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components, and/or supplies as required
  • Maintain communications with Customer Service
  • Recordkeeping as required
  • Participate in all required company training
Requirements:
  • Prior three (3) years route delivery experience preferred
  • Good Communication and Customer Service Skills
  • Familiar with GPS and Tablet Technologies
  • General Office Equipment
  • Able to meet employer's attendance standard
  • Able to follow work rules and policies and procedures
  • Current ServSafe Food Safety Certification
  • Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check (required)
  • Must be able MVR Requirements
Physical Demands:
  • Under 1/3 Standing time
  • Walk, Climb or balance
  • Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
  • Taste or smell
  • 1/3 to 2/3 Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and arms
  • Over 2/3: Sit, See, Talk or hear
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
