We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control/Flagger to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic in and around active worksites.
Key Responsibilities- Control traffic using hand signals and paddles to maintain a safe working environment
- Prepare and set up flags, cones, signs, and markers to direct traffic
- Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor as needed
- Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
- Follow local, state, and federal DOT guidelines
- Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
- Work in all weather conditions and perform other duties as assigned
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Have a valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Previous flagging experience is preferred
- Routinely work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level and lift heavier objects
