Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse RN Job Opportunity

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery nurse RN to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable hospital in Ellsworth, Maine.

Job Summary

As a Labor and Delivery nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. Your responsibilities will include coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication, and managing potential complications that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to women and newborns during labor and delivery
  • Monitor and manage the mother's and baby's vitals during the birthing process
  • Administer medication and manage potential complications
  • Coach women throughout the birthing process
  • Provide education and guidance to new mothers in regard to recovery and caring for their infants
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Active RN license
