Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team in Ellsworth, Maine.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current ME License
  • 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Experience with all phases of Labor and Postpartum care, as well as care of well babies
  • AWHONN
  • NRP
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • STABLE
  • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
