Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our staff and management, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to upper-level management, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Enter data and process documents and records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate standard office equipment, including printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Provide general clerical support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of general office or administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in administrative or secretarial support.
  • Experience using MS Word and Excel; JTS experience a plus.
  • One or more years of experience in accounting and/or personnel functions.
  • One or more years of experience in preparing budgets and financial reports.
