Key Responsibilities:

Strategic leadership of the HVAC division, developing and implementing short-term and long-term goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
Team management by fostering the Sandbox Solar culture within the HVAC division and through recruiting, training, mentoring, and managing the HVAC team
Project Management of all HVAC projects, heat pump installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance
Serving as the primary technical expert on heat pump systems, providing guidance and support by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues with the same kind of exceptional service that Sandbox is known for

Requirements:

An ICC Mechanical License (or able to obtain immediately), NATE and EPA 608 (or equivalent) Certification, and OSHA 30A
Minimum 10 years of HVAC experience with a focus on heat pump systems, with progression to a management level job in an HVAC company for a minimum of 5 years
A High School Diploma (or equivalent)
A valid CO Driver's License and a clean driving record, along with the ability to maintain both
The ability to climb and use ladders safely, and lift HVAC equipment
Strong technical expertise in heat pump design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Proven leadership skills with demonstrated success inspiring and motivating teams to achieve goals
Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HVAC software applications

Bonus points for:

Experience in energy auditing or energy modeling
Experience in plumbing
