Job Summary

Boys Town is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Clinic team in Grand Island. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide psychological treatment and assessment services to families and children, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address a range of clinical concerns, including disruptive behavior problems, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to children and families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in clinical psychology and behavioral health.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services that promote positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, or counseling psychology.
  • Completion of an APA-approved internship or equivalent.
  • Licensed (or licensable) Psychologist, Counselor, or Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska.
  • Experience working with children and families in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
