Flex Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity in Thief River Falls, MN

We are seeking a highly skilled Flex Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Altru Health in Thief River Falls, MN. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the care of patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and implement intervention plans for patients, utilizing effective and meaningful methods to achieve their treatment goals.
- Collaborate with therapy team members to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Orient patients, family members, and caregivers to physical therapy evaluations and treatments, providing education and support as needed.
- Supervise therapy assistants and aides, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Develop and document discharge plans, ensuring patients receive necessary resources and follow-up services.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in North Dakota and Minnesota.
- Prior to start date: Physical Therapy Assistant certification from the North Dakota Board of Physical Therapy and Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- MN Background Study clearance from the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
