Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Altru Health in Thief River Falls. Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Evaluate patients' needs and collaborate with physical therapists to develop effective intervention plans
  • Communicate regularly with patients and families to educate them about treatment plans, progress, and future steps
  • Supervise therapy assistants and provide guidance on best practices for patient care
  • Maintain detailed records of patient information, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress updates
  • Work closely with the therapy team to identify barriers to discharge and implement solutions
Requirements and Certifications:
In addition to holding a valid driver's license and BLS certification, you must be certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the state boards of North Dakota and Minnesota before commencing work. A Minnesota Background Study will be conducted during the hiring process.
