Strategic Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Buyer II

At Air Squared Manufacturing Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Buyer II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing and Procurement: Submit requests for quotes (RFQs), generate and maintain purchase orders (POs) for goods and services from tactical and strategic suppliers.
• Supplier Management: Manage supplier delivery schedules and ensure MRP information is current and accurate.
• Cost Savings Opportunities: Identify and implement cost savings initiatives to improve profitability.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
• Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with internal customers to communicate and resolve quality, lead times delivery or other issues.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field (preferred) or Associate's degree or minimum of 4-years' experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Industry Certification: Industry certification such as Institute for Supply Management CPSM (preferred) or Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS) CSCP.
• ERP Systems: Highly proficient in utilizing ERP Systems (Global Shop - preferred).
