This position involves managing all guest interactions and inquiries, facilitating check-ins and check-outs, and providing essential support to guests throughout their stay. The Night Auditor collaborates with various hotel departments to guarantee smooth guest services while also being responsible for accurately balancing and reconciling daily financial transactions during the overnight shift.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly role within the hospitality sector, offering a competitive salary range of $15.50 to $17 per hour. Employees will receive weekly pay and are eligible for a variety of benefits, including healthcare, paid time off, and discounts at IHG hotels globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nightly audits and reconcile all accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions during overnight hours.
  • Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, addressing any inquiries or requests they may have.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Monitor hotel security systems and respond to any issues that arise.
  • Prepare daily reports and distribute them to relevant departments.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly with hotel reservation systems.
  • Some college coursework in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Opera PMS system is beneficial.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts and weekends.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information discreetly.
  • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
