Job Title: Educator for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Prime Home DDS, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Educator to join our team in Papillion, NE.

As an Educator, you will work closely with students who require special educational support. Your primary goal will be to identify each student's unique needs and develop strategies to promote their long-term academic success.

The ideal candidate should possess qualities of compassion, creativity, and commitment to student growth. The successful Educator will lead the Education Services Program by planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating various offerings at Prime Home DDS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Educational Service Director to assess the present and future needs of Education Services.
  • Offer training and services in Education Services for the target population.
  • Maintain adherence to all County, State, and Federal regulations pertaining to Education Services.
  • Engage in program evaluations and investigations, including reviews of internal systems and CPS/APS Abuse/Neglect inquiries.
  • Play a proactive role in student intake to understand each individual's specific needs thoroughly.
  • Promote student participation in their own program planning and oversight of Education Services.
  • Comply with relevant legal requirements to uphold human and legal rights of all individuals in-service programs.
  • Ensure staff receive training in essential skills for their roles and participate in ongoing education to enhance and refine services.
  • Manage education services efficiently to achieve students' IEP goals and objectives promptly.
  • Oversee services' quality, encompassing client programs, financial management, facility maintenance, safety protocols, and organizational systems.
  • Cooperate with other service providers to guarantee high-quality service for all clients and offer administrative support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working in an education and/or community-based program for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
