Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Registration Specialist to join our team at University Health. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for collecting patient information, communicating with payers, and ensuring accurate billing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
  2. Communicate with patients regarding service charges and payment arrangements
  3. Process payments and handle collections
  4. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient access or billing
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and ICD-9 coding

Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
