Job Summary:

As a Software Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that software integrations and changes meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs and issues into actionable requirements, applying your business process knowledge and analytical skills to maximize the use of business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop change management documentation in accordance with the company's quality management system, including functional requirements, risk assessments, and validation reports.
  • Translate business requirements into software development features and work directly with software developers to ensure clarity on the conditions of acceptance.
  • Perform system administration activities, including application setup, configuration, and maintenance, with guidance as needed.
  • Ensure software integrations, changes, and configuration updates meet quality and organizational standards, adhere to business requirements, and decrease or eliminate risk to process and product.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders, senior leadership, and cross-functional/site teams to establish business systems project timelines and expectations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving intermediate to complex systems issues and provide after-hours support based on a predefined on-call schedule.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate SQL skills, including the ability to effectively execute SQL queries, read through procedural code, and complete database table updates.
  • Experience with Stored Procedures and supporting business systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively translate between functional and technical teams and draft succinct and clear end-user and technical documentation.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in assigned function's business process and supporting systems.
  • Oracle or SAP ERP experience a plus.
  • Associate degree in Business or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity working in an agile software development environment.
