Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Respond to resident requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in scheduling and completing preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair complex problems, and perform hands-on work on a wide range of facilities responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities and repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
- 1-4 years of experience in maintenance or related carpentry/construction, ideally in residential or commercial real estate.
- Special boilers license or willingness to obtain one, if applicable.
- Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
