Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers through the buying process, leveraging established selling steps, policies, and procedures.
  • Greet and qualify customers by understanding their requirements and interests.
  • Process sales orders and paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Utilize dealership sales controls and follow-up systems to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Offer test drives to interested customers and ensure proper identification prior to test drive.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits, as well as optional equipment for purchase.
  • Maintain a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
  • Adhere to all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance.
Requirements
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Ability to work every Saturday.
  • Previous sales, customer service, or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Must submit to a background and drug screen.
Working Environment & Physical Demands

Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors, and on customer test drives. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
