About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our Health and Welfare Claims Audit Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the department, including associate and department oversight, and working on special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure internal and external claims audit results meet industry standards
  • Direct, coach, and mentor team members to ensure accurate and timely work completion
  • Manage achievement of associate and department goals and standards
  • Ensure compliance with DOL and department requirements for claims completion
  • Foster positive professional working relationships with team members, peers, vendors, and management
Requirements
  • Educated: BA degree (preferred) or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Experienced: Extensive experience in claims and/or industry knowledge
  • Leadership: Supervisory experience leading, developing, and motivating teams
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized: Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
