About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams on patients using advanced sonography equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of patient sensitivity and follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Act as a clinical resource and mentor to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and department performance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • ARDMS registration (RDMS, RVT, or RDCS) or ARRT registration (R.T.(S)) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
