Optometric Assistant

About the Role:

We're seeking a charismatic Clinical Specialist to join our team at Visionworks. As the face of our Exam Practice, you'll be dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient.

As a Clinical Specialist, you'll be trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. You'll personally take patients through the first steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introducing patients to the OD and providing the OD with important patient information
• Transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Executing day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
