  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation.
  • Implement person-centered activities and goals that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress, observations, and any incidents that occur.
  • Collaborate effectively with other care team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to resident care.
  • Create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a healthcare setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
