As a Residential Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of these individuals by assisting them with daily living activities, fostering their independence, and creating a nurturing environment.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Implement person-centered activities and goals that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress, observations, and any incidents that occur.
- Collaborate effectively with other care team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to resident care.
- Create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a healthcare setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
