The NYC DEP is looking to recruit an Assistant Environmental Engineer for the Air and Noise Assessment Unit. The chosen candidate will participate in research, investigation, and evaluation of technological innovations pertinent to the air code and noise reduction strategies. Key responsibilities include assessing construction noise abatement methods and air emission reduction strategies for mobile sources, while ensuring adherence to specific sections of the noise regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical, mechanical, petroleum, aeronautical, or materials engineering
- At least one year of full-time relevant experience in environmental engineering
