Job Description

The Nurse Extern will provide direct patient care, perform various tasks and duties related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. This role requires the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services.
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a clean and safe patient care environment.

Requirements
  • Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • BLS certification
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION: 1+ years of nursing school completed, or as mandated by state of practice
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 + years of experience in an acute care setting
