Job Summary

The Chadwell Supply Lead Driver Supervisor is responsible for transporting product goods and materials from and between Chadwell Supply distribution facilities, customers, and vendors. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Lead and manage a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure safe and effective transportation of goods.
  • Conduct daily truck inspections to ensure all vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Manage fuel cards, fuel receipts, and ignition keys for all delivery fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure all delivery manifests are completed accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with Branch Supervision to recognize and reward safe driving practices.
  • Assist with training new delivery drivers and ensuring they are familiar with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a delivery driver and 1+ year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read road maps, follow GPS directions, and navigate highways and roads safely.
  • Ability to lift in excess of 60 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT Medical Examination Card if required by law.
