Nurse Manager

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Feather River Care Center. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our team of certified nursing assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise the daily activities of certified nursing assistants to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are followed and implemented effectively.
- Participate in the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents as required.
- Observe and report changes in residents' status to physicians and family members.
- Transcribe and implement physician orders, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Provide direct care skills, such as wound treatments, IV administration, and tube feedings, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform rounds to ensure resident needs are met and personnel are performing their assigned duties.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents' needs are holistically met.
- Report incidents, concerns, or complaints to the Director of Nursing or Administrator, and participate in the investigative process as needed.
- Participate in end-of-life care and ensure that residents' rights are respected and protected.
- A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or a graduate of an approved RN program.
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
- Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family members, and staff.
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and perform physical tasks as required.
- Subject to falls, burns, and exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions.
- May be subject to hostile or emotional residents, family members, visitors, or personnel.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
