This role is part of the Office of the Registrar team at Kilgore College, a two-year, comprehensive public community college in Northeast Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing records related to admissions and registration processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process and analyze electronic transcripts from high schools and colleges, as well as academic and continuing education requests.
- Enter test scores into the student information system and process drop/withdrawal requests.
- Maintain student address accuracy and mail nonattendance and enrollment verifications.
- Record student bacterial meningitis vaccination status and contribute to data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide general information about Kilgore College and represent the institution in a professional manner.
- Manage the front counter and supervise student assistants, conduct training, and provide technical support for Docubase users.
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with specific records questions and support prospective students with admissions applications.
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry required.
- Familiarity with Jenzabar J1 student information systems and Docubase imaging preferred.
- Effective oral and written communications skills are essential.
This is a 36-hour work week position with a generous paid leave time and benefits package, including health, life, and income protection insurance, and an excellent retirement program through the Teacher Retirement System.
