About the Role

Dewberry is seeking a skilled Site/Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating civil infrastructure projects, including grading, stormwater management, and utility design.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate site/civil design aspects, working closely with the Project Manager.
  • Mentor entry-level staff and interns in the use of Civil3D.
  • Perform work that may include construction document preparation, engineering analyses, cost estimates, and quality control/quality assurance.
  • Implement regulatory requirements and design standards.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience directly related to the design and execution of Civil Infrastructure Projects.
  • FE required.
  • Strong technical capabilities in various software applications, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
