About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned engineer with demonstrated leadership qualities, the ability to work as a team member or independently, and a desire to learn new skills and areas of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and manage civil and transportation projects for airport clients
  • Lead projects, including client management, supervising and directing junior staff, and coordinating with other disciplines
  • Prepare bidding documents, including horizontal and vertical layout, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, and construction scheduling
  • Grow and mentor younger staff within a dynamic aviation group
  • Serve as a client manager or grow into a client-facing professional capable of delivering high-quality products and services
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities, engage with clients, agencies, and professionals in the aviation industry
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree recognized in the evaluation process
  • Minimum six years of civil engineering experience with demonstrated technical design and construction expertise
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or ability to gain licensure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a working knowledge of design programs, including Civil3D
  • Interest in experiencing a variety of assignments and working in a dynamic environment
