Job Title: Groundperson

The Groundperson is a key member of our tree service crew, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate chainsaws and other equipment to cut and process tree branches and trunks.
  • Feed brush and debris into wood chippers and other machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be willing to join the local union and pay union dues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
Working Conditions:

The Groundperson will work in a variety of outdoor environments, including forests, parks, and residential areas. The job requires the ability to work at heights, in inclement weather, and in physically demanding conditions.
