We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team at KMS Solutions, LLC. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that meets the needs of our customers.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with experience in creating user manuals, guides, and other technical documentation. You will work closely with our subject matter experts to develop clear and concise documentation that meets the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Edit and maintain existing content to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Develop new technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and other technical materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that documentation meets the needs of our customers.
- Support the development of technical reports, procedures, and other formal documentation.
- Write and revise technical material to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in technical writing.
- Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance.
- Experience with undersea warfare systems and/or providing support at NUWC Division Newport.
- Five years of experience in technical writing.
