Job Title: Registered Nurse with Intensive Care Nursery Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Intensive Care Nursery to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill and premature infants, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill and premature infants, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and family involvement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Mentor and precept new staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Engage in professional development, staying current with evidence-based practices and guidelines in neonatal care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience.
  • Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
  • All Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses must commit to completing a BSN or higher nursing degree within 10 years of their hire date.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire and as applicable, higher level per unit certification requirements as stated on the grid attached to the AHA and Life Support Policy.
  • ACLS Certificate required upon hire in Endoscopy, Tele-ICU, Day Surgery Center at CGP (Manchester), Life Safety and Cardiology-Echocardiography.
