Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our North America After Sales Department team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of deliveries and supporting the success of our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Coordinate Deliveries: Work closely with the management team to prioritize and execute the flow of deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to our customers.
  • Manage Wholesale Functions: Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating the flow of work for all Wholesale functions, including releasing, labeling, reprinting, and researching carts that are unable to be processed.
  • Error Resolution: Maintain and resolve Error Log, providing daily status updates and collaborating with North American System Support to resolve errors.
  • Inventory Management: Assist Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor with pulling data and running reports, as well as validating inventory discrepancies.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects and additional duties assigned by the Supervisor and Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years performing diversified duties within the Wholesale department or a comparable Distribution environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and oral.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Flexibility: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, flexible hours, and overtime as requested.
  • Education: GED or High School diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Prior experience in problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Clerical Support Experience: Clerical Support experience, including utilization of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Education: Bachelor Degree.
