Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a motivated and self-driven Agronomy Sales Representative to join our team in Dixon, NE. As a key member of our agriculture organization, you will work closely with farmers, ranchers, and producers to promote the effective use of crop protection products, plant food, seed, and other services offered by our cooperative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve retail sales goals and provide consultative services to customers.
  • Utilize fundamental sales principles and practices to improve sales, marketing, and consulting skills.
  • Identify opportunities to provide value-added services to customers and act on them or pass them on to more experienced staff members.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by providing proactive service and responding promptly to customer needs.
  • Prepare and assist with bids and proposals, and develop customer presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and industry trends, competitors, and sales programs.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma and/or GED
  • Knowledge of sales, business development, or operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
