Ohio Medical Physics Consulting (OMPC, LLC) is seeking a full-time Therapy Medical Physicist to join our team in Toledo, OH. Clinic Information:
  • This position is based in Toledo, OH at Mercy Health.
  • The clinic is equipped with a Elekta Versa HD, Elekta Gamma Knife, and HDR.
  • The facility uses Mosaiq/Pinnacle Treatment planning systems.
  • Special procedures include SRS, SBRT & HDR.
  • Patient load is approximately 40 patients per day.
  • The clinic has an incredibly welcoming team.
  • This role will be fully supported by the OMPC team in Ohio for PTO coverage and increased patient loads.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain standards and regulation requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance on Mosaiq/Pinnacle and Elekta Linear Accelerators.
  • Adhere to client and company policies and procedures.
  • Consult with radiation oncologists and staff.
  • Perform routine physics services.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in state and professional regulations.
  • Willingness to go "above and beyond" for clients and fellow colleagues.
  • A desire to demonstrate initiative and ownership of daily tasks and projects.
  • Capable of paying strict attention to detail, thorough, and well-organized.
  • Ability to actively problem-solve by seeking, developing, and implementing viable solutions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • ABR Certified Medical Physicist or Board Eligible.
  • MS or PhD in Medical Physics.
  • Valid State Registration/Approval.
  • Valid Driver's License.
