Job Summary:

Republic Indemnity Company of America is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist - Workers' Compensation Expert to join our team. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for investigating and maintaining claims, reviewing coverage and liability, and working towards the resolution of claims files. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and maintain claims, including reviewing coverage and liability
Work towards the resolution of claims files, attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary
Secure and analyze necessary information, including reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, records, or other documents
Convey complex information to all appropriate parties, maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations
Ensure that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure that claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and other legal requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
6-10 years of experience handling California workers' comp claims
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
