Compensation Range: $16-$20 / hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the waiting area - welcome clients, engage with visitors, and address client concerns
  • Prepare invoices and cost estimates
  • Process payments and issue receipts
  • Capture digital images of patients for social media use
  • Maintain printer supplies, including paper and toner
  • Monitor appointment requests through Demandforce
  • Manage text reminders via InTouch Mobile
  • Oversee social media interactions
  • Handle phone messages and manage prescription/food order inquiries
  • Input new clients and patients into the database and upload scanned documents to patient records
  • Explain CareCredit and assist clients with the application process
  • Understand accounts payable and monthly financial statements
  • Conduct end-of-day financial reconciliations
  • Submit written prescriptions to pharmacies
  • Complete necessary medical records entries for assigned patients
  • Assist in stocking exam rooms and treatment areas as needed
  • Help monitor inventory levels, including rotation and expiration dates, and report needs
  • Assist in ordering supplies and medications as required
  • Contribute to the upkeep of both indoor and outdoor areas of the facility
Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Preferred experience of at least one year
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic math and writing proficiency
  • Fundamental understanding of veterinary practices and a love for animals
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology
  • Knowledge of vaccinations, common diseases, and pet behavior
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Infinity and Office programs
