Scripps Health, a renowned healthcare organization nationwide, seeks a highly skilled Registered Dietitian for a per diem position based out of our Scripps Memorial campus in La Jolla. This casual role will provide support to other Scripps Campuses as needed, helping cover LOA's, PTO, and additional departmental needs. Flexibility to work weekends is required.

The ideal candidate will join our Clinical Nutrition team, providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition care to all patients utilizing technical skills in an acute care setting. Key responsibilities include clinical assessments, screening for nutritional risk, developing, implementing, and monitoring a nutrition care plan, education, and follow-up.

We are seeking a qualified individual with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration. Preferred qualifications include one of the following specialty certifications: Certified Nutrition Support Clinician CNSC, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist CDCES Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition CSR, Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition CSO, or Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition CSG.
