Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Evaluate Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Implement Physician Orders: Safely and effectively implement physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and procedures as required.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Team: Work collaboratively with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide Primary and Emergency Care: Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, utilizing sound nursing judgment and expertise to make informed decisions.
- Direct and Guide Ancillary Personnel: Direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing and ensuring that all care is delivered with compassion, respect, and dignity.
- Graduate of a Professional Academic Nursing Program: Possess a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited academic program.
- Minimum of 1-3 Years of Clinical RN Experience: Have a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with a strong foundation in quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques.
