Nurse Practitioner Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contributing to the development of our surgical care services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Develop and maintain expertise in a specific area of surgical care, staying current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to patients and families. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a high level of physical and mental stamina, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
